Going Greek in Year 4

Yassou! (Hello)

On Tuesday 3rd February the Year 4s had a special Ancient Greek Day where pupils and teachers dressed up and had a great day learning about all sorts of different aspects of Ancient Greek life with a special visitor from Portals to the Past.

Maple and Cherry classes re-enacted famous battles, myths, Ancient Greek democracy and even had a mini Olympic games! It was a fun, active and very interesting experience where everyone learnt a lot about Ancient Greek times.
