Tesco Bags of Help Scheme. Vote for our pond project!
Our pond project has been shortlisted for a public vote in Tesco’s Bags of Help initiative! Vote for us to win the top prize in store!
The Eco-council has been working on developing our pond area over the last 2 years and pupils have enjoyed regular access to our pond area. We are very keen to finish this project so it can be fully used by all pupils. The next stage is to build a dipping platform which will allow all year groups to safely take part in pond dipping activities as well as observe the wildlife more easily.
We really need your help to win a grant from Tesco towards our brilliant pond project!

What is Bags of Help?
Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores – being awarded to local community projects.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from carrier bag sales in Tesco store. The public will now vote in store during September and October on who should receive the awards.
